Starware is a lifestyle brand designed for adults with families who value simplicity, quality, and functionality. The brand’s identity reflects a love for life and an appreciation for its textures, embodying a grounded, dependable personality that resonates with its audience.

Project Overview

I was tasked with creating the event branding for this forum, which focused on sustainability, traceability, and innovation in the flax industry. The branding needed to represent both Ethiopia’s heritage and the global nature of the flax textile industry.

Design Challenge

The primary challenge was to craft a clean and simple visual identity that conveyed premium quality and familial warmth. The design needed to strike a balance between modern sophistication and everyday approachability, reflecting Starware’s core values of quality, user experience, and exceptional customer service.

Design Outcome

The logo features an all-caps modern typeface encased in a rectangular box, conveying structured simplicity. The brand color—a darker, earthy leafy green—evokes reliability and a connection to nature, aligning with the brand’s focus on family and life’s essence.
